Mr. Belak's dedication to patient care resulted in him being the recipient of the esteemed ‘Best Doctor’ award in Croatia for four consecutive years, a testament to his compassionate patient care and the trust he instils. After graduating from the School of Medicine at the University of Zagreb in 2007, Marin sub-specialized in the field of vitreoretinal surgery and medical retina refining his skills at the renowned University Hospital Centre ‘Sisters of Mercy’ in Zagreb, Croatia. Driven by an unwavering commitment to excellence, Marin pursued additional training at numerous institutions worldwide, including Moorfields Eye Hospital (London), Cole Eye Institute (Cleveland Clinic, USA), as well as in Germany, England, Spain, Italy, and Switzerland. This diverse exposure equipped him with a comprehensive skill set and a nuanced understanding of cutting-edge treatments.

Mr. Belak is passionate about providing the most up to date treatments, ensuring his patients receive the best care possible. Within the first year of it’s launch, Marin became Ireland’s highest volume user of Vabysmo, the newest medication used in the treatment of macular degeneration.
