UPMC International Administrative Fellowships X 2
The UPMC Administrative Fellowships are a two-year fixed term program intended for post-graduates who have a passion for international healthcare management
The first year of the UPMC International Administrative Fellowship will be centered in Pittsburgh, PA. Fellows will spend their first year rotating with executive-level leadership, participating in various projects, meetings, and initiatives through a variety of core functional rotations.
The second year allows the fellow to spend time working in Ireland across UPMC sites in an area of interest and/or organisational need. Following the 2-year Fixed Term Contract, the Fellow will be required to remain with UPMC for a further 3-year period and will be remunerated accordingly.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- University degree.
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, or healthcare management or public health or other related administrative master’s degree program. Applicants, who have completed their master within the last 24 months, prior to the time of application, will receive top consideration.
- Experience in a healthcare setting would be a distinct advantage
- Fluent in English, written and oral.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and other Project Management tools, as necessary
Excellent analytic and communication skills, being motivated and self-starting, being adaptive to change, critical thinking skills, and ability to work with minimal supervision are also instrumental for the success of the fellowship.
