Biography
Mr. James O’Reilly graduated UCD Medical School in 1992. He completed his higher surgical training in ophthalmic surgery in 2001.
His sub-specialty training in corneal transplantation and anterior segment reconstruction was undertaken in Queen Victoria Hospital, East Grinstead, UK, under Mr. Sheraz Daya.
He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists (UK). His specialist registration is in ophthalmic surgery.
Mr. O’Reilly is a Fellow of the Irish College of Ophthalmologists and a member of the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons.
He has been practising ophthalmic surgery in Waterford since 2003.
