Post: Financial Accountant – 6 month contract
Reports To: CFO

Overview of the Post
To support our continued growth, we are looking to grow our Finance Team. The successful candidate will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and will support the team in implementing the financial plan. The role of financial accountant will play a vital role in supporting management and assisting in delivery of the group’s strategic objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assisting the CFO in delivering the strategic objectives
  • Preparation of business plans
  • Supporting the capital expansion plans
  • Assisting in integration of newly acquired facilities
  • Support finance team to identify process improvements and assist in rolling out same
  • Ad-hoc tasks as directed by CFO
  • Involvement in projects

Qualifications and Skills Requirements

  • Qualified Accountant – ACA/ACCA or CIMA with at least 2 years PQE
  • Knowledge of forecasting and budgeting an advantage also
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel and the MS Suite package
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Strong time management and analytical skills
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work on own initiative
  • The ideal candidate will be driven, reliable and show a ‘can so’ attitude
